EASTER!!!!

Thursday
Joe came and got me and mum after my dancing. Dad had already arrived at the site and set up, when we arrived everyone was already over the hall having tea and Coffee! All the kids as usual decided to run around and play games. Kiera stayed over at my caravan and everyone went to bed.

Friday
Woke up at 7.30am by dad and the dog licking my face! We all decided to have a lazy day today. More people turned up and we all gathered on the field to show our kites that we made and we flew them in the wind. After that we went into the hall, where mum was cutting hair, SHE CUT KIERA’S INTO A BOB!! Becky, Kiera and myself each had a shower and done our hair and make-up ready for the nights activities. That night we done horse-racing,   we done it on the projector and everyone was shouting for their horses to win! (Joe got a little carried away!! Haha) everyone won little cards in the shape of coins. They were all tallied up at the end of the night.

Saturday
Woke up once again at 7.30am by dad and the dog! Becky, Kiera, Mum, Julie, Debbie and myself went into Freeport and bought lots of things (MAKE UP), we also bought face masks so when we got back we went into the girls toilets and put them on! We then afterwards put on out make up and straightened our hair. We had to wear our pyjamas and be patients, the hosts were our doctors, everyone had so much fun, and were all mucking around. After the games we all had a little dance and off we went into their comfy beds!

Sunday
Woke up not by the dog or dad but by the smell of chocolate and by Kiera and Becky shouting ‘ITS SNOWING!!!’ Thick snow lie on the field and everyone outside was making snowmen and having snowball fights. Mum and I made our Easter bonnets for the afternoon and then I went outside and had a SNOWBALL FIGHT!! I was frozen and wet! It was so cold outside, everybody’s faces were bright red! At 11.30am we all went over the hall and showed off our hats that we all had made. Corey had been sick through the night so Michelle and Corey didn’t come over. Kiera and Josh won Girl and Boy of the Year! WELL DONE!! Most of us stayed over the hall and had a little to eat. Tonight we done barn dance, it was really funny! Everyone was dancing around, some were brilliant at it than others! Well, they didn’t even know what a ‘dosie doe’ was! HAHA. We also done some line-dancing! That was my favourite!! When it reached 11pm we all stopped our dancing and everyone was so tired already. We went to bed.

Monday
I really didn’t want to wake up this morning! I didn’t feel very well, my nose was red raw and I had a terrible cold! We all went to coffee morning, some people won prizes and some won money! I won sweets and a chocolate egg in an egg cup! We all tidied the hall and packed up. And off everyone went home!

I had such a brilliant weekend and thank you to everyone for making it so much better for me!!!

See You All SOON!!!!

Shotley Village Hall

Hi everybody, it’s my turn to write a rally report because it was my birthday on the 5th of April.

Thursday
When I arrived with Dave there was only two vans, Harry & Gill and Syd & Janet. The weather was sunny it felt like summer was here.   We set up the van and then mum and Kelsey turned up about an hour later, then we had dinner and the others came in to our van and watched the video that Dave had made then we went to bed.

Friday
Woke up early to a sunny morning and after breakfast we went to the marina and saw the docks across the water it was massive!!   Friday night we all went over to the hall early to set up for the tea and coffee evening and Janet helped mum while me, Kelsey and Dave went and enjoyed ourselves. Everyone met up in the hall a bit later and it was Keira’s birthday and Julie got her a handbag cake, then we all sang happy birthday to her, had our tea and cake then went back to our van and went to bed.

Saturday
It rained this morning and its getting colder. We went for a walk with Jennifer, Kelsey Josh, Tom and not forgetting Beau down to the seafront. When we came back to our van we had lunch then it was time for our birthday treat of bowling. We had nearly 2 hours there but I won the 2nd game and Lily won the 1st game. When we got back we had to get ready for the evenings games. Kelsey & me had to call out numbers for the bingo and run around mad which I enjoyed. Then halfway through mum bought me out a football birthday cake. I was soooo embarrassed I ran and hid under the table and we all had a good time at gurning I was the first one to go up the only thing I didn’t know it was getting filmed until Dave went up and took his go at gurning and I filmed him. I enjoyed horse racing as well as the other bits.   We all had a great time hosting this rally!

Sunday
We went over to the hall about 11am to get set up for the tea morning. Mum announced the competition winners, I come joint third with Keira and Kelsey won the kids competition.   Bob entered his pumpkin garden cup and won a big orange. As well as half the other raffles and prizes!! Afterwards we cleared the hall and made a move home. Thank you all for a great weekend!!

We hope everyone had a brill time and can’t wait to host another weekend.

I would like to say a big thank you to all those who gave me cards, presents and money for my birthday.

Love to all from Michael
